p.s. while our long-time customers are familiar with our hours, we'd love to give you a little context. we are a family owned and operated business. keeping our hours abbreviated is a built-in safety to make time to enjoy each other, our kids' childhoods, and prevent burnout. thank you for rolling with it - it means the world to us!

We want you to love what you bring home from Period Six. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how we handle returns.

handmade & one-of-a-kind items.
Many of the pieces we carry are handmade in small batches or individually crafted. Handmade items vary—this is a feature, not a flaw. Natural variations in color, pattern, and finish are byproducts, celebrated, and part of what makes each piece special. Slight variation from photos is expected and not considered a defect.

returns + exchanges.
Unused items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery. See below for excluded items.

:: refunds or store credit are issued once the item is safely received and inspected by Period Six

refunds.
Refunds are always issued in the original form of payment.

:: gift card purchases are refunded to a gift card
:: credit card, Shop Pay, or PayPal payments are refunded to the original account
:: shipping costs are non-refundable

color & expectation concerns.
If a handmade item doesn’t meet your expectations due to color or natural variation, we’re happy to help explore a return or store credit. We’re unable to guarantee exact color matches on one-of-a-kind pieces.

Due to their nature, these items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Eligible items purchased between November 15th and December 24th may be exchanged through January 31st. Please email hello@periodsix.com to confirm eligibility and coordinate your return or exchange.

Period Six is proud to give to many local charities and nonprofits in the Golden area.

If you represent a nonprofit in the Golden area and are seeking donations please reach out to us and provide the following information:

  • Organization Name
  • Event details (including location, date, time, estimated attendance)
  • How donations will be used (eg. silent auction, raffle, live auction)


As there are hundreds of nonprofits in Golden and the surrounding area, we sadly cannot support everyone who reaches out.

However, we appreciate you contacting us and it is always our pleasure to do our best to support the community that supports us!
